How did the Big 8 Blast start?

The website started as a result of playing a number of games Ashes Cricket 2009, International Cricket 2010, Don Bradman Cricket 14 (all PS3) and Ashes Cricket (PS4) .

Each time I played a new game I would refer to our sister website Wicket III World to find the latest playing XI to add to the scorecards. Before long I thought how fun it would be to create an annual fantasy international Twenty (T20) competition.  Hence the birth of the Big 8 Blast competition and an accompanying website.

Each time a game is played I will update the website with match details including the line-ups, scores and the final result.

Dates are only fixed days in advance for these matches so you will need to keep visiting the site to see the latest results (a new 'last update' date will indicate whether there has been recent gameplay or website activity that you won't have seen).

N.B: Upon each visit please remember to refresh your pages otherwise you will probably load an outdated version of the page.
